10 things that a player must do before a basketball game
Part of being a player for a basketball team or any sport, is knowing how to play the game, what to do when, and having the right equipment. Here are ten things as a basketball player is important to do before a game.
1.Know when and where the game is being played.
Do not wait until the last minute to know where the match played. Speak with your coach in practice to ask for directions and times. Usually, a coach, will present a game schedule and confirm early games as they arise. Ultimately, remains your responsibility as a player to know when and where the game is playing and how they will arrive.
2. Get your uniform.
Be this sounds like a real step gives, but to get the uniform means making sure your uniform is clean. Puts on his uniform at home, you will not have that much time to put it on in court. If you have a warm-up jersey that goes over the top of his uniform, since in the house as well, so do not forget to take it.
3. Pack a bag for the game
Pack a small gym bag with his name marked on it, with the game shoes, knee pads support you need, including knee braces, a small towel and a bottle of water.
4. Get to the courthouse a half hour before game time.
Most coaches want their players on the court a half-hour before the game so they can go through the warm-ups and get last minute instructions.
5. Technical Report to let them know they are there.
Arriving at the court, immediately report to the coach and let them know they are there. When coaches are doing their lineups, they need to know it's there. If you appear out of nowhere when it comes to game, you can not get to play as much as you expected, because the coach did not you put on the line.
6. Change shoes, use the bathroom and remove all jewelry.
Before UPS hot equipment, make sure take care of all the little details so you do not lose playing time. Change in the shoes of the court immediately. Be sure to remove all jewelry and anything plastic or metal and hair clips. If you step onto the pitch with any of that on, was told to me off the field by the referee.
7. Fill your bottle of water.
If you drink more than one bottle of water during the game, have two. But be sure to fill your water bottle up before the game. Make sure the bottle is marked with your name on it.
8. Hot on the court.
In practice the coach normally will teach your team warming passes before each game. If not, just make sure you get out there and take some shots, dribble and pass.
9. Hot mentally.
When gets on the court for warm-ups, and so should be in basketball. That means to put aside all your everyday things and concentrate on the game. Check in your mind what you've learned into practice on game strategies or new works. Do not wait until the middle of the game to ask the coach how a game runs. Whatever I do not understand with the coach in training or warm-up before starting. Remember that a game is 80 percent mental and 20 percent physical. You want to be prepared in both directions.
10. Listen to the coach last minute instructions.
After heating the coach will talk to you about strategies and game is starting. This is an important time for you to listen and concentrate on what is being said. If you have a question about the instructions of coaches, ask. But do not ask questions coach who does not belong to that game.
By taking these ten steps before each match, you can be sure that they come prepared and ready to go when the coach yells your name from the bench. Good luck and remember, learning the game, play and have fun doing it!
