basketball party invitations
Is it impolite to ask guests to-day ba pay part of the child?

My oldest son is in third grade, and has a birthday early in the next two weeks. He desperately wants to have her birthday at the local community center where children can go to Rockwall, play basketball, and go swimming. His classroom has a policy of inviting the whole class, or no one, so that children do not come to school and talk about the parts well and let "Little suzy-that-was-asked her out." There are 27 children in her class, and would also be about a dozen children of our family and friends. I hope most boys and some girls from class are presented, at a cost of $ 14 per child. We are talking about a match of approximately $ 250 if 20 children are without even buying food and presents yet! So …. I was thinking about asking families to pay $ 7 per child, and I also put something in the invitations to the effects of "His presence, not presents, is sought for Ethan's 9th birthday." Would it be tacky of me to make this request, or is it right?

The conclusion is that you can not afford this party so do not even go there. What other children when you want similar events for their birthday? It does not stop, right? Ask people pay is not acceptable. On this birthday, it takes courage to put an end to the affairs of the whole class. I do not think that all children are friends. You would not expect to ask all your colleagues at your party, right? Why children are forced to do so? Some mothers may whisper behind his back, but I think others can alleviate. Your child can get a bit of hostility in school that may be difficult for him to handle, but Children are not stupid, if you are able to explain to him should help you cope. I love the line 'Your presence is needed … " You could use that and try to turn the event into a fundraiser (if you feel you have to invite everyone). Your options seem to be a birthday tea at home or at a picnic somewhere. Your invitation can read 'Their presence is necessary but not presented in this way and we support charity …..( maybe the school). There will be a box to receive anonymous monetary gifts that have been spent on gifts. "When you get the receipt of charity, this could be published in the newsletter school with a "thank proof" as in where did the collection. Your child may still increase as much as the state for their kindness. After his birthday choose a couple of real friends to take this adventure center. You could also organize an event with the whole class sometime in the future where people pay to participate as in any outing. In fact, possibly the parents may think they are rather a super-mom to do this. Two decades ago I refused to give up some bags, that suddenly became popular in England. I have three children, one with a disability, work and find the best gifts are often discarded. What a waste of time and effort. I gave him a bar instead of quality chocolate. Some children screamed, but I doubt any of them are receiving counseling because of it! Good luck. Be strong.
